Fall is an incredible time to travel, as the seasons change before the winter sets in and the world around us turns into chilly evenings. If you’re trying to decide on your next solo travels in the Fall… this is the blog post for you. Let’s delve into some incredible places that I recommend you consider for your next solo travel.
First of all, a favorite amongst solo travelers… Amsterdam. Amsterdam is an incredible European city in the Netherlands. Especially during the Fall season as there are many trees in the city which will loose their leaves; creating a wonderful array of orange colors across the walks and streets of Amsterdam.
If you’re a keen photographer or just love an Instagram post… Amsterdam has some eye catching scenery which makes for the perfect photo opportunity. Especially at this time of year!
Another place to visit with incredible scenery during fall is the Lake District in England. Situated in North-West England, it is home to incredible stunning lakes and mountains. The Lake District is the perfect getaway if you want to surround yourself with nature and be at peace with your surroundings.
If hiking sounds like your type of thing, then the Lake District is for you as there are many hiking trails and walks that you can explore. Just remember to bring your walking boots and a raincoat as you can be sure to expect some showers!
As well as hiking, off-road cycling is also something to experience in the Lake District. With a mountain bike, and some pedal power… you will be off to see some breathtaking views that the Lake District has to offer.
This is definitely a more active getaway, so if you are chasing those incredible views and outdoor experiences to remember, then this is the place for you.
However, if a city break is more your kind of thing. Then this is the trip for you…
New York. Oh yes! We wouldn’t forget, the city that never sleeps. New York in fall is the best time to visit as those hot sweaty summer days are passing and fall is just before the cold chilliness of winter sneaks in. So what better time to explore New York?
With the stunning architecture of the skyscrapers mixed with the warm orange glow of the trees… it creates the perfect scenery for an incredible trip in fall. Plus, as a solo traveller, New York is buzzing with things to do so you certainly won’t get bored!
What better city to stroll around on, stepping on crisp orange leaves and holding a warm mug of hot chocolate? Well, Paris sounds like a good choice!
It’s not as busy in fall which means you can explore the incredible city without battling the crowds; as well as this it’s also not as hot as in summer so you can comfortably stroll around the city without feeling the heat! What more could you want?
As well as this, you obviously have the wonderful Eiffel Tower which makes for the perfect Instagram snap in the fall sunset!
